Define the agreed work packages

Record civil preparation, partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, electrical work, signage and specialist systems as included, excluded or separately appointed. Identify who supplies, installs and approves each item.

Connect drawings to the quotation

The bill of quantities should identify the measurement basis, quantities, materials, installation and exclusions. Resolve missing details before treating a total as a complete store-opening budget.

Assign technical and operational interfaces

Clarify the landlord’s requirements, work hours, site access and client-supplied items. Define who coordinates queries between the brand, designer and execution team.

Agree changes and handover

Record additional or revised work and assess its cost and programme implications before approval. Define the completion review, outstanding-item record and handover documents.
