Establish site readiness
Review access, the existing condition, landlord rules and the work promised before mobilisation. Record unresolved conditions and their owners.
Finalise drawings and specifications
Identify the decisions required before procurement and fabrication. A late layout or material change may affect more than the visible finish.
Sequence procurement and site activities
Coordinate long-lead items, specialist appointments, delivery restrictions and the order of installation. Confirm how client-appointed vendors fit into the programme.
Review progress against the agreed scope
Use identified activities and dependencies to discuss progress. When the scope changes, record the impact on cost, procurement and the handover sequence.
Define handover readiness
Agree what will be inspected, which records are required and how outstanding items will be closed. Do not apply a single standard duration to every store.
Discuss the site release and target dates through our retail fit-out service, or review how we structure a project.
